Welcome to Casa Giulia
Casa Giulia is a place where you can feel welcome, a base from which to set out each day to explore the Langhe, Monferrato and Roero, and somewhere to return in the evening with the pleasure of feeling at home.
Casa Giulia is a family home that preserves the pleasure of hospitality, shared spaces and time spent together. Its rooms are spacious and bright, designed for reading, playing the piano, gathering around the table or enjoying a game of billiards.
Every room tells something of the history of the house.
A house on three levels — or rather, four
Casa Giulia is a large house arranged over three levels — the ground floor, first floor and second floor — each also directly accessible from outside, plus an attic reached from the second floor.
The interior spaces connect with courtyards, gardens and outdoor areas, giving the house a very open layout.

Spaces for spending time together
Casa Giulia has many shared spaces, each with its own size and character. The main dining room, on the second floor, is at the heart of life in the house: a place to gather, eat around the large table, read by the fireplace or play the piano.
On the first floor, there is the main living room, with a fireplace and a second piano, as well as two reading rooms filled with books.
On the ground floor, the second kitchen and dining room provide another place for cooking and eating together, particularly when using the portico and the garden.
The variety of rooms means that everyone can gather together, while also allowing smaller groups to form and choose the space best suited to each moment of the day.

Bedrooms and private spaces
The guest bedrooms are located on the second floor and in the attic. The second floor has three bedrooms, differing in size and bed arrangement, and four bathrooms, three of which have showers. One of the bathrooms with a shower serves the attic, where there is an additional bedroom with a double bed — which can be separated into two single beds — and a single bed.
The bedrooms occupy the more private part of the house while remaining close to the shared spaces on the second floor. The different bed arrangements allow them to be adapted to the needs of families, couples or groups of friends, with the option, when necessary, of adding a few single beds.
The gardens and outdoor spaces
Casa Giulia has three gardens, each with its own size and character. At ground-floor level, the largest garden extends well beyond the length of the house and is directly connected to the portico and the rooms on the ground floor. The garden and portico are used particularly during the warmer months, for eating outdoors or spending part of the day outside.
At first-floor level, there are two smaller, more intimate gardens. The garden on the eastern side leads to the main entrance of the house, while the garden on the western side also provides access to the billiard room. Outdoor stairways connect both gardens to the one below and make it possible to move between the different levels of the house from outside.
The gardens contain fruit and ornamental trees, peonies, hydrangeas and numerous varieties of roses. On the eastern side of the large garden, a gate opens directly onto the square in front of Castagnole Town Hall and, from there, towards the main square of the Paese Alto.
There is room for games too
Casa Giulia also offers several ways to spend time playing: the billiard room, with its large table and all the equipment required for different games, a table-tennis table and a table-football game, which can be set up outdoors or under the portico.
